ACCESS DOORS

Standard Specifications:

Doors: Made of galvanized steel ga. 24/22 double skin and with internal insulation.

Door Frame: Galvanised steel ga.4/22 roller formed. Provided with foam gasket all around, bottom edge will be notched knock over for easy fixing onto the duct.

VOLUME CONTROL DAMPERS (VCD)

AMECO volume control damper has been specially designed for installation in systems where high / medium / low velocity and pressure are experenced.

Combine with its robust construction, the damper is suitable for use air handling units.

Single section dampers are designed to operate from one control point (hand locking quadrant or motor operation) can be manufactured in single module units to 1200 mm to 1000mm

CIRCULAR VOLUME CONTROL DAMPERS

AMECO Circular VCD’s are designed to regulate air volume in circular ducts.

These dampers are easily accessible with round ducts.

V.A.V. CONTROLS

VAV controls are designed to achieve variable air volume delivery of conditional air to room in single duct, constant I volume air distribution system variable air volume control is achieved by directing air flow either to the room or to a bypass in a direct response to signals from the room thermostat.

Air terminal use a primary air damper closes, the bypass port damper opens, and vice versa, so that a constant volume of air is delivered by the air terminal, but varying amounts and delivered to the room or total airflow through the air terminal. A locking quadrant on the inlet balancing damper determines the total airflow through the air terminal.

Air terminal are available in standard sizes of 6″. 8″ 10″ 12″ 14″ and 16″. Sizes 6″ 8″ and 10″ have round inlet collars and sizes 12″, 14 and 16 have equal flat oval collars. All basic terminals are 18 1/2″ on height and 21 1/4″ on overall length Performance:

Air terminal are available for system pressure dependent and system pressure independent applications. They are recommended for use in duct systems with static pressure up to 2″ water gauge. Supply air capacity range from 200 to

4000 CFM, depending on air terminal size.

SAND TRAP LOUVRES

The sand trap louvers are designed to separate large size and particles at low air velocities. It gives excellent performance for air filtration at moderate pressure drops and low air velocities.

Features:

AMECO sand trap louvers are available in two different types of construction of mill finish aluminum sheet and galvanized sheet steel; other materials are also available order. The louver is made to design to separate sand and dust particles from intake air. The louver is provided with a self-emptying base

through which the filtered sand is thrown out easily. Volume control damper is optional, for a much better filtration,

AMECO sand trap louvers is provided with a detachable aluminium.

NON RETURN DAMPERS

AMECO Non Return Dampers open and close for intake of or discharge of air according to the change in pressure in the room. As the room pressure increases, it opens to release the excess pressure in the room and gets closed by gravity when the pressure in the room drops back to normal.

AMECO Non Return Dampers are a wall mountable or duct mountable device.

The duct mounted are of two types, mainly, Joint S & C type or Flange type.

Manufacturing Details: The body or frame of Non Return Dampers are constructed from 18 or 20 gauge galvanized sheet. The blades made with

24 gauge lightweight aluminium or G.l. sheet. Standard Nylon Bushes are used. A gasket services for Low Leakage and to prevent rattling noises. It has galvanized steel supports. Leakage ranges from 3-5%.

Standard Sizes: (Use any combination of width & length) Nonstandard sizes are available on request.

SOUND ATTENUATORS

Rectangular Attenuators

Outer Casing minimum 22 ga pre galvanized sheet steel with longitudinal mastic sealed, lock formed Joints.

Splitter Facings

24 ga perforated pregalvanised sheet steel. Splitters are aerodynamically profiled and exist are flat faced fabricated from 24 ga pregalvanised sheet steel.

Acoustic Infill

In organic, non-hygroscopic, flame, moisture and vermin proof mineral fiber of the appropriate density to achieve the required acoustic performance, packed under compression to prevent the formation of voids due to setting.

Applications

Vertical and horizontal bend attenuators can be used where space is limited.

Construction

Construction is generally as for standard rectangular attenuators. Each bend attenuator is designed to ensure that the additional pressure drop created by the bend is minimized. Bend attenuators are available with the same construction options and infill variations as for standard rectangular attenuators.

Acoustic Performance

Using the center length of a vertical or horizontal bend attenuator the insertion loss can be found. Test have shown that a bend attenuator may have insertion loss higher than that of the straight attenuator but this effect is un predictable and difficult to quantity and can there for be ignored.
